Questions have arisen regarding ADI Predictstreet's connections to the International Holding Company (IHC) and the Abu Dhabi royal family. Over the past few weeks, we have been investigating this matter to uncover the truth.
As the official prediction markets partner for the FIFA World Cup 2026, ADI Predictstreet has established a multi-year collaboration with FIFA. Their advertising presence at the World Cup significantly boosted their visibility, propelling the company, founded on March 17, into the global spotlight during the tournament, which concluded on July 19.
Our research delved into the commercial ties between ADI Predictstreet and Kalshi, as part of an article for Gambling Insider focused on the trading metrics and strategic initiatives of ADI Predictstreet.
Initially, Teneo, a New York-based public relations firm representing ADI Predictstreet, denied any affiliations with IHC or the Abu Dhabi royal family. In a statement sent via email last month, ADI Predictstreet asserted:
“ADI Predictstreet is a Gibraltar-licensed and regulated prediction market platform that operates independently with its own governance structure. There is no involvement of any member of any Royal Family.”
They emphasized that their operations are built on ADI Chain’s compliant infrastructure, which is recognized as the first institutional Layer 2 blockchain for stablecoins and real-world assets in the MENA region, registered with the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and governed by Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).
However, our investigation uncovered numerous references linking ADI Predictstreet to the International Holding Company and strong indications of connections to the Abu Dhabi royals.
The International Holding Company is publicly traded and chaired by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family. He also chairs the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the UAE. The royal family maintains control over IHC through its Royal Group stake, and Sheikh Tahnoon serves as the UAE National Security Advisor, further solidifying his status within the royal family.
We sought information from Teneo regarding the directors of ADI Predictstreet but did not receive a response. Subsequently, we requested the company formation documents from Companies House Gibraltar.
Our findings indicate that Predict Street Limited operates ADI Predictstreet, as per the license granted by the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner. Predict Street Ltd is classified as a ‘Betting Intermediary (B2C)’ among the 57 entities listed as of July 20, 2026.
Predict Street Ltd is a subsidiary of Finstreet, which is in turn a subsidiary of IHC. We reached out to IHC for confirmation regarding Finstreet's subsidiary status but did not receive a reply before publication. Through a document request at Gibraltar Companies House, we verified that Predict Street Ltd is indeed the operating company for ADI Predictstreet.
The directors of Predict Street Limited are Akshay Kumar Mahajan, Sunidhi Pasan, and Andrew Peter Montegriffo. According to their LinkedIn profiles, Mahajan and Pasan are UAE residents and co-founders of Finstreet, with Pasan serving as the CEO. Montegriffo’s background remains less defined in our findings.
