Agua Caliente Casinos has announced the appointment of Jennifer Reese as the new Senior Vice President and General Manager of Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City. This comes at a time when competition among gaming and entertainment venues in Southern California is becoming increasingly fierce.
The company operates three locations in the Coachella Valley, situated in Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs, and Cathedral City. With a significant presence in the Greater Palm Springs area, Agua Caliente Casinos provides a range of offerings including casino gaming, dining options, and live entertainment, while employing over 2,000 individuals.
Reese, who boasts over 25 years of experience in gaming and hospitality, previously served as a marketing consultant and strategic advisor for Agua Caliente Casinos. Her contributions were pivotal in unifying the brand across the company’s properties. Now, as she takes the reins at the Cathedral City location, she brings valuable insights from various major gaming markets in the U.S.
In a recent interview with Yogonet, Reese shared how her experience in competitive casino environments shapes her leadership style. She emphasized the importance of understanding guest needs, adapting marketing strategies, and consistently enhancing the guest experience.
Reflecting on her previous roles in Atlantic City and other competitive markets, Reese noted that success relied heavily on balancing strong gaming performance with diverse offerings, such as loyalty programs and targeted promotions, to foster lasting relationships with players.
Reese also discussed her previous work with Agua Caliente Casinos, where she played a key role in the strategic rebranding that unified the properties. She highlighted that the Cathedral City site was not yet operational during the rebranding, but the consolidation of Rancho Mirage and Palm Springs under one brand facilitated a more efficient operation and enhanced market presence.
As she steps into her new role, Reese aims to uphold the brand's promise throughout the guest experience at Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City, ensuring consistency across gaming, marketing, food and beverage, and service.
Positioned as the premier non-smoking destination in the Agua Caliente portfolio, Reese plans to further distinguish the Cathedral City property in the Southern California and Coachella Valley markets by providing a convenient and inviting atmosphere, strong rewards through the ACE club, and engaging entertainment that resonates with guests.
Her immediate focus as general manager is to create a welcoming environment from the moment guests arrive, which includes maintaining a clean facility, executing strong operational strategies, and ensuring leadership visibility on the gaming floor.
