Butler National Corporation has announced the extension of two sports wagering agreements at its Boot Hill Casino & Resort in Kansas, now valid until 2030.
These agreements, formalized by Butler National's subsidiary BHCMC, LLC, encompass the casino's regulatory relationship with the Kansas Lottery and its commercial partnership with DraftKings.
The first agreement grants Butler National a three-year extension on its Lottery Sports Wagering Management Contract with the Kansas Lottery. This contract allows Boot Hill Casino to oversee sports wagering operations at the venue. Sports wagering was authorized by the Kansas Lottery in 2022, with management handled by the state's lottery gaming facility operators.
The original management contract was set for five years, and the newly signed extension maintains the same essential terms, extending Boot Hill's management of sports wagering operations through 2030.
In conjunction with the Kansas Lottery extension, Boot Hill Casino and DraftKings have also agreed to modify and prolong their sports wagering partnership for an additional ten years. This collaboration enables online and mobile sports betting at the casino, with new terms reflecting current market dynamics.
The DraftKings agreement remains contingent on Boot Hill Casino's ongoing management authority under its contract with the Kansas Lottery, thereby linking the duration of the commercial partnership to the regulatory agreement.
