Betsson Group has officially introduced its renowned Betsson brand in Belgium, taking over from the betFIRST operation that it acquired three years ago.
The Stockholm-based operator aims to boost global awareness of the Betsson brand and broaden its footprint in the Belgian market with this rebranding effort.
Customers can expect a variety of enhancements, including upgraded platforms, new mobile applications, live casino offerings branded with Betsson, and exclusive gaming titles. Additionally, they will benefit from Betsson's international partnerships and initiatives designed to engage fans.
In Belgium, Betsson's betting operations will coexist with its infotainment brand, Betsson.sport, which delivers content, news, scores, and fan interaction.
Since the 2025/26 season, Betsson.sport has been the primary sponsor of the Belgian football club Club Brugge, and this sponsorship will persist under the infotainment brand, especially as front-of-shirt gambling sponsorships are prohibited in Belgian sports.

According to Blask data, Belgium ranks as the 28th largest gambling market worldwide and is among the top 20 in Europe. The betFIRST brand is currently the ninth largest in the country.
With this rebranding, Betsson aims to fortify its position against major competitors like Star Casino, Unibet, and bwin while increasing the visibility of its flagship brand in Belgium. The company is actively operating in 25 significant markets across Europe, South America, and North America.
