Bet365 has officially launched its online sports betting and casino services in West Virginia, marking its entry into the 18th state in the U.S. as part of its ongoing expansion across North America.
This launch allows customers aged 21 and older in West Virginia to access bet365's sportsbook and online casino just in time for the upcoming college football and NFL seasons. Notably, this is the fourth state where bet365 offers both sports betting and online casino options, while its other 14 markets only feature sports betting.
To attract new users, bet365 is rolling out promotional offers such as “Bet $10, Get $150 + 50 Spins” and a “1,000 Deposit Match + 1,000 Free Spins.”
The sportsbook includes features like live betting, in-game wagering, and an Early Payout Offer (EPO), which guarantees qualifying football bets as winners when a team leads by 17 points, irrespective of the final score.
In terms of casino offerings, bet365 provides a Daily Prize Matcher and Jackpot365, a multi-tier progressive jackpot feature that can be accessed directly through a betslip or casino game.
Trip Stoddard, the Head of Development at bet365, stated, “West Virginia represents another significant milestone in our expansion across North America. As we enhance our presence in the region, we remain committed to delivering the quality, depth, and functionality that define the bet365 platform.” He added that with the football season approaching, it is an exciting opportunity to present their sportsbook and casino to West Virginia customers.
Bet365 received an interim license in West Virginia in January and was granted a full annual license on July 29, according to licensing documents from the West Virginia Lottery.
This launch positions bet365 as the 10th online sports wagering operator in West Virginia, joining established competitors such as BetRivers, BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings, Ember Casino & Sportsbook, Fanatics, FanDuel, Kambi, and theScore Bet.
Over the past 13 months, West Virginia marks bet365's sixth market launch in North America, following entries in Kansas and Maryland in August 2025, Missouri in December 2025, Michigan in April 2026, and Alberta in July 2026, where both sports betting and casino gaming are available in Michigan and Alberta.
Earlier in 2025, bet365 also launched online sports betting in Illinois and Tennessee.
The company has made significant investments in its U.S. expansion, including approximately $135 million to establish a 120,000-square-foot headquarters in Denver. In June 2025, bet365 joined the Sports Betting Alliance and initiated its “Winning Is Everything” marketing campaign in March 2026, aimed at bettors in both the U.S. and Canada.
Additionally, bet365 may expand into Massachusetts, as the Massachusetts Gaming Commission voted in April to reopen the state's sports betting license application process following a request from bet365.
Bet365 offers betting on over 100 sports and streams more than one million live events each year. The platform also features responsible gaming tools, including spending and session limits.
