Belatra, a developer known for its innovative online slot games, has unveiled its latest title, Brother CrossBolt. The new release immerses players in a gothic adventure, tasking them with hunting vampires in a dark, atmospheric setting. The game is inspired by classic horror stories and features a protagonist who transforms into a werewolf to track down immortal foes.
Gameplay Features and Mechanics
Brother CrossBolt utilizes a cascading mechanic, where winning symbols disappear and are replaced by new ones, potentially creating additional wins. The slot also introduces giant 2x2 and 3x3 symbols that can appear at random, acting as larger blocks of matching icons. When these giant symbols contribute to a win, they break apart to allow more symbols to cascade down.
At the heart of the gameplay are Silver and Golden Revolvers, which reveal hidden multipliers ranging from x2 to x100. These multipliers accumulate in a Global Multiplier that increases with each cascade, offering the potential for significant payouts during extended win sequences.
Bonus Features and Player Options
The game includes Hero Boosters, which can activate after non-winning spins. The Bomb booster removes surrounding non-paying symbols, while the Change booster upgrades lower-value symbols to higher-paying ones. Players can trigger Free Games by landing four Scatter symbols, where the Global Multiplier carries over between spins instead of resetting.
During the Free Games feature, a rare Red revolver can appear, loaded with six x100 multipliers. This can fully charge the Golden Revolver and significantly increase the Global Multiplier, especially in the final stages of the bonus round. For those seeking higher volatility, the Hot Mode feature starts with a higher multiplier, more active symbols, and more frequent boosters, increasing the chance of hitting the game's maximum win of 25,000x.
Additional options include a Buy Bonus feature, which allows players to directly access Free Games, Hot Mode, or guaranteed revolver waves. A Bet +25% option is also available, increasing the likelihood of landing Scatters in the base game.
Significance for Industry Stakeholders
The launch of Brother CrossBolt highlights Belatra's ongoing commitment to developing engaging and feature-rich content for the online casino market. For operators, the game's combination of innovative mechanics, bonus features, and high win potential may help attract and retain players seeking immersive slot experiences. Affiliates and suppliers could benefit from promoting a title that stands out due to its gothic theme and unique gameplay elements, potentially driving increased traffic and engagement.
