The Prosecutor's Office in Dnipro, Ukraine, has filed a case against a local resident accused of organizing illegal iGaming operations. According to investigators, the individual set up a scheme in 2026 to attract players through a Telegram bot.
As per the investigation, players could fund their gaming accounts using both fiat currency and cryptocurrency. The funds were reportedly directed to accounts controlled by the organizer.
The accused faces a fine of up to $16,000 for the illegal organization of gambling activities, as stipulated under part 1 of Article 203-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
