A 25-year-old resident of Mogilev, Belarus, has lost 4,000 Belarusian rubles (approximately $1,300) while attempting to rent someone else's account in an online casino, according to the Lenin District Police Department of Mogilev.
According to law enforcement, the account owner lured the victim with a tempting rental offer under the guise of a profitable promotion. However, immediately after the payment was made, the victim's access to the account was blocked.
As a result, a criminal case has been initiated against the perpetrator.
