Playtech has announced that the Spectrum report, commissioned by Evolution to counter the investigation by the Israeli private intelligence firm Black Cube, actually confirms its key findings. The document became public after Black Cube submitted it as part of the case materials in New Jersey.

Playtech plc notes that the court document submitted by Black Cube yesterday regarding the ongoing dispute with Evolution AB contains the full text of the long-awaited Spectrum report.
Evolution engaged Spectrum Gaming Group and commissioned the report to respond to Black Cube's investigation. However, the Spectrum report actually confirms fundamental aspects of Black Cube's investigation, including concerns about the availability of Evolution's games in several banned markets, regulatory implications of their practices, and the lack of proactive monitoring of their clients.
For months, Evolution publicly presented the Spectrum report as a document that justified their actions. Yet, Evolution consistently refused to publish the report, claiming that disclosure could expose confidential financial information. Now that the Spectrum report is public, it is clear why it gained such significance in the American legal process and why Evolution fought so hard to keep it confidential.
Although the report was commissioned by Evolution themselves, Spectrum directly confirms several key findings of Black Cube and could not confirm or deny others, as Evolution did not provide Spectrum with a significant portion of the requested information. This includes data to determine whether gaming sessions were conducted in Iran, Syria, and Sudan, as well as revenue reports for these jurisdictions. The refusal to provide this information prevented Spectrum from completing critical parts of the investigation, leaving serious questions regarding the availability of their games in banned markets.
Spectrum reported that Evolution is not taking any proactive steps to ensure that operators using their products comply with contract terms. It is evident that Evolution's concerns about the publication of the report were not related to confidential financial information, as claimed by Evolution, but rather to the confirmation of significant compliance issues that, according to the report, are problematic and place Evolution in a precarious position before law enforcement.
Playtech is pleased that the Spectrum report has become public and welcomes the opportunity for the court, regulators, and other interested parties to examine the document in its entirety.
