The Financial Monitoring Department in Kazakhstan's Karaganda region has dismantled a group of drop-off operators that facilitated the acceptance and withdrawal of payments for players of the iGaming operator Vavada. The group conducted operations through 23 drop accounts, totaling over 415 million KZT (approximately $880,000).

According to the investigation, in January 2026, the organizers made arrangements with representatives of the operator to handle player payments within Kazakhstan. One member coordinated the group and interacted with the operator, while another sought out drop-off agents and ensured access to their bank accounts. Additionally, they recruited staff to work in shifts around the clock at a rented office in Karaganda.

Two suspects are currently under house arrest, and the court has authorized the seizure of their assets, which include a private house, two plots of land, and a Mercedes-Benz vehicle.
