DATA.BET Showcases Sportsbook Innovations at SiGMA South America

At the recent BiS SiGMA South America event held in São Paulo, DATA.BET took the opportunity to showcase its advancements in sportsbook solutions, moving beyond its initial focus on esports. The company is now concentrating on providing a comprehensive sportsbook tailored to the needs of operators in various markets.

During the event, Yogonet interviewed Otto Bonning, the Head of Sales at DATA.BET, who discussed the company's strategy of operating across two verticals, the significance of iFrame and API integrations, and its preparations for significant events like the upcoming World Cup.

Last year, DATA.BET expanded its offerings by launching a robust sportsbook package. When asked about the performance of this solution since its introduction, Bonning mentioned that they began actively promoting their iFrame sportsbook at the start of 2025, a logical progression for the company, which has a strong foundation in odds feeds and automation, backed by a large in-house trading team.

Previously, DATA.BET had an iFrame solution available for select clients, and extending this to a broader market was a strategic move. Operators can now access a comprehensive sportsbook that encompasses traditional sports alongside leading esports coverage.

Esports continues to be a focal point for DATA.BET, with ongoing development of a complete esports solution for larger operators and platform providers. This includes features such as odds feeds, risk management, widgets, streaming, and bet builders.

With the World Cup on the horizon, Bonning emphasized its importance not just for operators but for DATA.BET as well, particularly since football is a crucial segment for their sportsbook. The company has identified areas for enhancement, such as player props in football, and has been working on these improvements in anticipation of the tournament.

Regarding integration methods, Bonning clarified the differences between iFrame and API solutions. The esports offering is primarily delivered through API, catering to advanced operators who already have their own infrastructure. In contrast, the iFrame sportsbook serves as a plug-and-play solution ideal for operators seeking a ready-to-use product with minimal setup.

Bonning also highlighted the strong performance of esports in regions like Brazil, parts of Europe, and Asia, particularly for popular titles such as League of Legends. In Brazil, esports betting revenue is significantly driven by games like Counter-Strike 2, Free Fire, and Dota 2. The flexibility to tailor offerings based on regional preferences is crucial, which is why DATA.BET is actively engaging in the Brazilian market.

Additionally, the recent partnership with Rei do Pitaco in Brazil has yielded positive results for both parties, showcasing the potential for collaboration in the growing esports betting landscape.
