The Czech Ministry of Finance has officially recognized the activities of the prediction market platform Kalshi as illegal gambling. As of September 30, the ministry has added Kalshi's website to a mandatory blocking list, requiring internet service providers to restrict access within 15 days.
This decision specifically targets the domain kalshicom. Notably, a competing prediction market platform, Polymarket, was added to this list back in July.
