The Armenian State Revenue Committee has announced that a new law regulating gambling activities will come into effect on February 8, 2027. This legislation prohibits unlicensed operators from using terms such as 'casino', 'lottery', 'bookmaker', and other gambling-related terminology in their names, trademarks, websites, and signage.
Violators of this law will face a fine of 500,000 AMD (approximately $1,400). This move aims to strengthen the regulatory framework of the gambling industry in Armenia and ensure that only licensed operators can engage in these activities.
