On April 7, the Brazilian Ministry of Sports published Portaria 27 in the Official Gazette, which defines the final list of sports and organizations on which operators are allowed to accept fixed-odds bets. This document came into effect on the day of publication and repeals the previous Portarias MESP 1252024 and 362025.

The list includes sports recognized by the Olympic (IOC), Paralympic (IPC), and Deaflympic (ICSD) committees, the Pan American program, disciplines for people with disabilities, equestrian sports (including vaquejada and rodeo), as well as commercially popular disciplines such as MMA, jiu-jitsu, motorsport, beach tennis, footvolley, and American football. Esports tournaments are also permitted, provided there is a license or authorization from the game developer or rights holder.

The document prohibits operators from accepting bets on youth categories, amateur competitions, and events exclusively involving minors. Developers and rights holders of esports disciplines cannot restrict betting on their tournaments to a single operator. The Ministry reserves the right to update the list as new disciplines are recognized.
