A woman in Belarus, currently on maternity leave, has made over 1,000 bets using seven accounts with an unnamed iGaming operator. This shocking revelation was shared by Dmitry Brylev, head of the General Prosecutor's Office, during a broadcast on STV channel.
According to Brylev, the woman was using her state child benefit to fund her gambling activities. This incident raises serious concerns about the regulation of online gambling and the protection of vulnerable individuals.
