The Casino Sochi, located in the Krasnaya Polyana gaming zone in Russia, hosted the world's first dumpling poker tournament on April 1st, attracting 100 players.
In a unique twist, frozen dumplings replaced traditional poker chips on the tables. Each participant was required to pay an entry fee of 1 kg of dumplings, and they competed for a grand prize of 300 kg of dumplings over a thrilling five-hour session.
After an intense competition, eight finalists emerged, with 39-year-old local resident Alexey taking home the title.
