The police in Hanoi, Vietnam, have arrested the head of the SEO company Super Thi Seo Media Services, along with 17 of its managers and employees. This action is part of an investigation into the illegal provision of information through computer and telecommunications networks, primarily related to the promotion of illegal websites, particularly iGaming operators.
According to the investigation, the company presented itself as a digital agency, assisting clients in increasing traffic and search engine rankings. Among their clients were 22 unlicensed Vietnamese-language gambling sites.
Police reports indicate that since the beginning of 2026, the company has earned approximately $142,000 from promoting illegal resources. To conceal financial operations, the head utilized 41 electronic wallets for receiving payments in USDT, while employee salaries were mainly paid in cash.
During searches, authorities seized over $268,000 in cash and cryptocurrency assets, a savings account with $115,000, 29 computers, and 41 phones. Additionally, 15 individuals involved have been temporarily banned from leaving the country.
