SBC Awards 2023: Kanggiten Leads with Nine Nominations

SBC has revealed the nominees for the 13th edition of the SBC Awards, with Kanggiten standing out with an impressive nine nominations. The awards ceremony is set to take place in Lisbon on October 1.

This event will mark the conclusion of the SBC Summit 2026 at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, gathering approximately 1,200 professionals from the industry. A total of 38 awards will be presented, celebrating excellence in various sectors of the global betting and gaming landscape, including operators, suppliers, payments, compliance, marketing, platforms, and data.

Kanggiten's nine nominations put it at the forefront, while Betsson Group and Sportradar follow closely with seven nominations each. Kaizen Gaming has secured six nominations, and BetConstruct AI, Evoplay, GR8 TECH, Playtech, and Soft2Bet are each recognized in five categories.

In the operator categories, Kaizen Gaming aims for its third consecutive win for Operator of the Year – Large, competing against notable companies like Codere Online, LeoVegas Group, and Megapari.

Betsson Group will attempt to retain its title as Casino Operator of the Year, while 1xBet and NOVIBET have again been nominated for Marketing Campaign of the Year and Innovation in Casino & Gaming Entertainment, respectively.

This year’s awards will also feature distinct Employer of the Year categories for both operators and suppliers. Supplier nominees include the reigning champion SOFTSWISS, along with Alea, BETBY, GR8 TECH, and Playtech. Operator nominees include Allwyn Hellas, Bally's, and Parimatch.

The Leader of the Year award will be announced during the ceremony.

In the payments and compliance sectors, GeoComply will strive to keep its title for Fraud & Compliance Solution of the Year. Nominees for Payment Solution of the Year include PayPal, Trustly, Worldpay, and Yaspa, while MiFinity, OKTO Payments, Pay4Fun, and Paysecure are in the running for Payment Innovation of the Year.

The supplier categories feature 22 awards that encompass casino content, sportsbook technology, data, platforms, marketing, and player acquisition.

Sportradar aims for consecutive wins in the Sports Data Product and Land-Based Betting & Gaming Product categories, while Optimove seeks to defend its titles for Marketing & Services Provider of the Year and Acquisition & Retention Partner.

GR8 TECH will attempt to retain its Platform Provider of the Year award against competitors such as EveryMatrix, Playtech, Soft2Bet, SOFTSWISS, Sportingtech, and Sportradar.

The ceremony will also honor emerging businesses with four Rising Star awards across casino, sports betting, and software innovation categories.

Additionally, SBC will host the Affiliate Leaders Awards on September 30 at the MEO Arena, recognizing achievements in affiliate and performance marketing.
