Paddy Power, the renowned bookmaker, has launched a unique advertising campaign for its own comedy festival in Dublin. The campaign, developed by BBH Dublin, features stencil messages applied to yellow wheel clamps on immobilized cars throughout the city.
On July 21, drivers and passersby who spotted these clamped vehicles were rewarded with free tickets to the festival. The initiative aims to bring a smile to people's faces, as the senior marketing manager at Paddy Power noted that wheel clamps have never been a source of joy.
The Paddy Power Comedy Festival is set to take place at the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin from July 23 to 26, featuring headliners such as Dylan Moran, Fern Brady, and Jason Byrne.
