Among those who have implemented lobby personalization and measured the results, there is a reported growth of 3-9% in Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) and a 2-6 percentage point increase in monthly retention rates. Interestingly, clients of The Playa often experience even higher results, with GGR sometimes growing at double-digit rates.
Another noteworthy detail is that operators who have integrated AI into lobby personalization update their game selections daily or more frequently. This is crucial because a lobby that is updated every two weeks adapts to the average behavior of players. In contrast, a lobby refreshed daily relies on the most recent sessions—what games the player chose yesterday, how long they played, and which categories they returned to.
The choice of game occurs within the first 30 seconds of entering the lobby, making this a critical moment for player retention. Updating the lobby manually, without machine learning, is simply impossible with a large number of players.
