Nevada Gaming Win Hits $1.39 Billion in May 2026

In May 2026, Nevada's statewide gaming revenue reached an impressive $1.39 billion, marking a 7.43% increase compared to the same month last year. This surge was highlighted by the Las Vegas Strip, which recorded its eighth-highest monthly total ever, as reported by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Nonrestricted gaming licensees collectively generated $1,388,340,168 in winnings for the month. This figure, known as gaming win, reflects the amount retained by casinos after paying out player winnings, serving as a key metric for regulators monitoring casino revenues.

For the fiscal year spanning from July 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026, the total statewide gaming win reached $14.7 billion, representing a 2.76% increase from the previous fiscal year.

On the Las Vegas Strip alone, gaming win for May amounted to $807,887,432, a significant rise of 13.19% from $713,767,433 in May 2025. This figure ranks as the eighth-highest monthly gaming win in the Strip's history.

Year-to-date, the Strip has generated $8,198,471,003 in gaming win, reflecting a 2.28% increase compared to the same period last year.

Historical data from the Nevada Gaming Control Board indicates that only seven months have seen higher gaming win totals on the Strip than May 2026, with December 2023 holding the record at $905.3 million.

While the Strip experienced notable growth, several other markets within Clark County saw declines. Downtown Las Vegas reported a gaming win of $63,931,768, down 4.16% from May 2025. Similarly, Laughlin's revenue fell by 5.18% to $40,976,621, and the Balance of Clark County, which includes local-serving properties, saw a decline of 5.63% to $164,350,570.
