Midnite has deepened its involvement with the World Snooker Tour (WST) by extending its sponsorship to cover all three of snooker’s prestigious Triple Crown events. The company will now serve as the official UK betting and casino partner for the UK Championship, alongside its existing sponsorships of the World Snooker Championship and the Masters.
Full Triple Crown Sponsorship Secured
The latest agreement brings the UK Championship, scheduled at the York Barbican from 28 November to 6 December, into Midnite’s sponsorship portfolio. This move completes the brand’s presence across the Triple Crown calendar, which also includes the Masters at Alexandra Palace and the World Snooker Championship at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre. The UK Championship, established in 1977, features 32 players—comprising the top 16 in world rankings and 16 qualifiers.
Strengthening the Partnership with WST
Midnite has previously partnered with WST for the World Snooker Championship and the Masters. The addition of the UK Championship extends this collaboration, reflecting a growing relationship between the betting brand and the sport’s governing body. The 2026 UK Championship is set to offer a record prize fund, further raising the profile of the event and the associated sponsorships.
Why This Matters for Industry Stakeholders
For operators and affiliates, Midnite’s expanded sponsorship demonstrates the value of aligning with high-profile sporting events to boost brand visibility and customer engagement. Such partnerships can provide increased exposure during major tournaments, while also helping to foster closer connections with dedicated fan bases. For suppliers and regulators, the move highlights the ongoing integration of betting brands with mainstream sporting events, underlining the importance of responsible promotion and compliance within these high-visibility partnerships.
