On March 17, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) identified a security breach in one of its systems and took measures to localize the incident. Preliminary reports suggest that an individual posing as a cybersecurity expert may have gained access to the system.
The MGA is currently conducting an investigation in collaboration with relevant authorities and will notify affected licensees as more information becomes available.
