Liga Market Betting Exchange Shuts Down in Russia

The Liga Market betting exchange, operated by Liga Stavok, is ceasing operations in Russia, as reported by the betting portal Legalbet citing a project administrator's newsletter. While the company has not made an official announcement, all markets on the website have already been marked as 'Awaiting Settlement.'

According to the newsletter, the project will cancel current events and refund users' coins to their balances. Access to the site will temporarily remain available for exchanging coins for free bets, and any unspent balance will be automatically converted.

For inquiries regarding the delivery timelines of ordered physical goods, administrators suggested contacting a manager.

Liga Market was launched on April 1 as an alternative platform for prediction markets without monetary investments. Users placed bets using in-game currency, Liga Coins, which could be exchanged for free bets in the exchange's store. An administrator from the Telegram chat L1GA PASS indirectly confirmed the closure, hinting at a possible return of the project in the future.
