The prediction market platform Kalshi has entered into a partnership with OpenAI to integrate its data into ChatGPT, as reported by The New York Times.
When users inquire about matches for the 2026 World Cup, the chatbot displays the probabilities of team victories based on Kalshi's odds. At the time of publication, the market estimates France's chances in the semifinal against Spain at 59% versus 41%, while England's odds against Argentina stand at 55% versus 45%.
This marks OpenAI's first partnership with a prediction market platform. The companies have not publicly announced the deal and declined to comment to the publication. According to OpenAI's help page, betting through ChatGPT is not allowed, and Kalshi's data is available only for inquiries related to the 2026 World Cup and is for informational purposes only.
