Graton Resort & Casino is on the lookout for at least 300 new employees as part of a significant $1 billion expansion aimed at enhancing its offerings in food, entertainment, and accommodations.
This recruitment drive is focused on staffing new dining options, which include the upscale AYA Restaurant, blending Vegas flair with Wine Country charm, the Playbook Sports Bar, and the dessert-centric SoCo Dough Co, as reported by The Press Democrat.
The expansion will also see an increase in staffing for a new smoke-free area that features 221 additional hotel rooms, a swimming pool, and a theater with a capacity of 3,500 seats.
Since January, the resort has already brought on over 500 new workers. The company provides a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, up to $1,000 per year in tuition reimbursement, quarterly bonuses for guest services reaching up to $1,000, legal and financial support for citizenship applications, and annual pay raises for both tipped and non-tipped staff.
According to the company, this expansion is already positively impacting the local economy in Rohnert Park, increasing demand for nearby hotels, restaurants, and retail outlets.
Job interviews are set to take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 24, July 9, and July 21 at Tony’s of North Beach, located at 288 Golf Course Drive West in Rohnert Park.
With this expansion, Graton Resort & Casino is positioned to become the largest private employer in Sonoma County.
