Foxwoods Resort Casino announced a slot revenue of $34.1 million for August 2026, which resulted in an $8.53 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut, in accordance with the slot revenue contribution agreement with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.
Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has contributed over $4.9 billion from Foxwoods' slot revenue to the budget of Connecticut.
During the month of August, guests at Foxwoods won more than $21 million in jackpots, with a total of 3,106 jackpots awarded throughout the casino.
The casino also continued its SummerFest promotions, which included entries for the Winner Take All $300,000 SummerFest Sweepstakes, double Rewards Points and Tier Credits on Mondays, as well as over 100 gift options available during Play Thursdays. Additionally, Bingo Unleashed was held on August 1 as part of the gaming events.
In August, Foxwoods unveiled an Innovation Zone in The Fox Tower, a new area that integrates slot machines, electronic games, and table game concepts. This zone is the first of its kind outside Las Vegas and aims to enhance the traditional gaming experience with modern formats and interactive technology.
The Innovation Zone features games from renowned providers such as Interblock, ATI, IGT, and Light & Wonder, including electronic table games and various poker formats. Foxwoods plans to introduce more games and experiences in the upcoming weeks and months to further diversify its gaming offerings.
