The Supreme Court of the Philippines has announced new rules regarding the civil confiscation of assets belonging to offshore gambling operators (POGOs). These regulations were adopted in accordance with the Anti-POGO Act of 2025.
This mechanism allows the government to confiscate assets and income derived from prohibited activities without the need for prior criminal charges or convictions.
