The event is scheduled for 5:00 PM local time in São Paulo and is announced as a presentation of new measures aimed at protecting families and the national economy. Soares reports that the president has already informed government members of his decision.
In recent days, government technical specialists have been finalizing the text to close any loopholes that could allow operators to challenge the ban in court. According to Soares, these operators are already preparing for counteractions.
