A viral video has surfaced showing Canadian rapper Drake hitting a max win in the Starlight Princess slot game (Pragmatic Play) on the crypto casino Stake. Accounts sharing the video claim the win amounts to $30 million, dubbing it the largest in online slot history. However, the final amount, session date, and bet size are not shown in the footage.
A post published today by The Akademy, a media project run by hip-hop blogger DJ Akademiks, has already garnered 1.5 million views within hours. Several major entertainment accounts are also spreading the news with identical phrasing.
Interestingly, the claimed amount contradicts publicly known results. The largest publicly reported win in online slots remains a $50 million max win by casino streamer Trainwreck in the Coins and Cauldrons slot (exclusive to Stake) from provider Meta Gaming. The authenticity of such wins by Stake ambassadors is frequently questioned.
In the U.S., plaintiffs in class-action lawsuits against the operator allege that brand ambassadors, including Drake and streamer Aiden Ross, play with balances provided by the product rather than their own funds.
