The Frederiksberg Court in Denmark has granted a request from the regulator Spillemyndigheden to block 98 unlicensed iGaming sites targeting Danish players. Among those affected are the prediction market platform Polymarket, the crypto casino Hash Lucky, and brands such as Leon, 22Bet, Dafa888, Everygame, Ice Casino, iWild Casino, Mr Bet, Cosmobet, and Velobet.
This procedure involves a request to the operator to cease operations in the local market, a request to internet service providers to block access in case of refusal, and a court decision obliging providers to disable the site at the DNS level.
