Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino, previously known as Harveys Lake Tahoe, has officially opened its doors on the South Shore after undergoing an extensive redevelopment process. This multi-phase project has transformed the resort with newly designed guest accommodations, a revamped casino area, modern bars and lounges, diverse dining options, entertainment offerings, and expanded meeting spaces.
Situated on the border of Nevada and California, the resort provides easy access to beach activities, lake sports, Heavenly Mountain Resort, golf courses, and various outdoor adventures. It is conveniently linked to Harrah’s Lake Tahoe via a connector, allowing guests to enjoy additional rooms, dining, and entertainment options. Together, these two resorts boast nearly 1,250 guest rooms in a picturesque year-round Sierra Nevada setting.
The resort features several amenities, including the High Dive Pool and Lounge, which boasts a heated pool, hot tubs, and cabanas. The newly updated casino floor includes an array of slot machines, table games, a modern high-limit area, poker options, and a renovated Caesars Sportsbook.
Guests can indulge in dining and nightlife experiences at various venues, such as WOLF by Vanderpump, Gordon Ramsay’s HELL’S KITCHEN, The Sage Room, and Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords, all developed in collaboration with Clique Hospitality. The resort also offers Cleo’s Coffee and Cocktails, a versatile coffee and cocktail bar, along with newly designed bars like Centro and Celeste.
Additionally, the property hosts the Summer Concert Series at the Lake Tahoe Amphitheatre at Caesars Republic.

To celebrate the opening, Caesars Entertainment held a champagne reception and a ceremonial ribbon-cutting in the lobby of Caesars Republic, attended by Lisa Vanderpump, Carano, and other executives from Caesars.
The festivities continued at Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords, where live rock n’ roll performances by Tahoe Tommy and Pier Pressure entertained guests. The lounge also showcased artistic elements during the event.
