In Australia, influencer Amir Khavatt, known as FaZe Nighthawk, revealed that he was offered $14,100 to promote an unnamed online casino, according to 7NEWS.
The promotional video was supposed to showcase a win of $1,770 from a deposit of $106. Instead of declining the offer, Khavatt feigned interest and publicly shared his conversation with a Polish representative of the brand.
According to the published screenshots, the online casino representative requested that the video not be presented as an advertisement. Instead, they wanted it to appear as if the influencer had stumbled upon the site by chance and won. When asked why the company specifically needed an Australian audience, the representative replied that it generates the most profit.
