Affinity Interactive has officially finalized the transition of the Primm Valley Casino Resort to Terrible Herbst, as previously announced. This handover was executed by Affinity's subsidiary, The Primadonna Company, LLC.
In conjunction with the transition, Affinity has appointed three new members to its Board of Directors: Ellen F. Whittemore, Brad Oates, and Adam Paul.
The company expressed gratitude to the Nevada Gaming Control Board for its support during the transition. Affinity also acknowledged the Herbst family for taking over the operations of the Primm properties, as well as the Primm family for their contributions throughout the process.
With the transition now complete, Affinity plans to focus on its long-term strategic goals across its remaining assets. The appointments to the board are seen as a key element of the company’s governance and oversight strategy as it embarks on the next stage of its operations.
Ellen F. Whittemore has a notable background, having served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Wynn Resorts. Her expertise includes corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management, along with experience in global regulatory initiatives and significant business transformations.
Brad Oates, who chairs Stone Advisors, holds the NACD Certified Director designation. He has previously served as an independent director for CIT Group and has extensive experience in executive and board roles within banking and financial services, focusing on corporate governance and business turnarounds.
Adam Paul is a seasoned restructuring attorney and board advisor with over 25 years of experience. He has provided counsel to boards, special committees, and executive teams on intricate restructurings and strategic transactions, and has held independent director roles in high-profile restructuring cases.
