The 57th edition of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) has wrapped up after an intense 51-day competition in Las Vegas, achieving a remarkable milestone in total entries and drawing millions of online viewers as the poker festival broadened its global appeal.
This summer's series, hosted at Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas, showcased 100 live gold bracelet events and attracted a record-breaking 251,899 participants. The total prize pool for these gold bracelet events reached an impressive $469.98 million, with 35,157 players finishing in the money.
The highlight of the tournament, the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em World Championship, commonly referred to as the Main Event, saw 9,208 entrants. The final nine players will reconvene in Las Vegas from August 3-5 to vie for the championship title, which will be broadcast live on ESPN.
This year, the WSOP unveiled a revamped Final Table Arena featuring enhanced lighting and digital displays, as part of a broader broadcasting strategy. The series returned to ESPN and secured a new multi-year distribution deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, covering platforms such as HBO Max, Eurosport, and TNT Sports.
Edited broadcasts of this year's tournament are set to begin airing on July 21, reaching over 300 million homes in more than 70 countries through partners like ESPN Networks, Eurosport, TNT Sports, Abema Japan, and Groupe M6 in France.
Several prominent players added to their bracelet collections during the series. Daniel Negreanu secured his eighth WSOP bracelet by winning the $100,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha event, earning over $2.2 million. Meanwhile, reigning Main Event champion Michael Mizrachi claimed his ninth bracelet by taking the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship for $1.35 million.
Kristen and Alex Foxen also each won a bracelet during the series, clinching titles in the $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em and the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em events, respectively.
Among the participation highlights, the $1,000 Mystery Millions event attracted 22,811 entries, marking it as the largest Mystery Millions tournament and the biggest $1,000 buy-in event in live tournament poker history. Additionally, the series set participation records for the Ladies Championship, Monster Stack, Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha, and Mini Main Event.
Throughout the series, a total of 41 prizes worth at least $1 million were distributed, with 57 events generating prize pools exceeding $2 million and eight events surpassing $10 million.
Players from 149 countries participated in the festival, while the Main Event featured competitors from a record 111 countries.
On social media, the WSOP platforms amassed 378.3 million views and impressions, gaining 222,828 new followers across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X.

The global player of the year race will culminate at the WSOP Paradise festival at the Baha Mar resort in the Bahamas from December 1-17, following earlier events in Prague and Las Vegas.
