The Financial Monitoring Agency's department in the North Kazakhstan region has announced the closure of the online casino Nomad Poker, which had a turnover exceeding $14 million.

According to the investigation, the project operated based on the mobile poker application Club GG Poker, and its activities were coordinated by Kazakh citizens from Georgia.

Organizers attracted over 20,000 players to the brand through social media, messaging apps, and advertisements. To service the project, the suspects facilitated the entry of foreigners into the country, for whom they arranged banking cards and mobile banking for a reward of up to $400. The investigation uncovered more than 60 drop accounts.

The court has sanctioned the seizure of an apartment in Almaty, three vehicles, and $300,000 in drop accounts.
