Turkey Blocks 84,600 Illegal iGaming Sites in 2025 Report

The National Lottery Administration of Turkey (MPI) has reported the blocking of 84,600 illegal iGaming websites in 2025, spanning across 70 countries, according to Sabah.

More than half of the blocked sites are based in the United States, with 5,745 linked to the Isle of Man and 5,698 associated with Armenia.

The report also highlighted that illegal operators primarily accept Turkish players under licenses from offshore jurisdictions, including Curacao, Seychelles, Malta, and the Isle of Man. Furthermore, organized crime groups fully manage these illegal operations.
