Spribe Secures Preliminary Ban on Aviator Brand Usage in Malta

In Malta, provider Spribe has successfully obtained a preliminary injunction against the use of the Aviator brand and the website aviatorstudio by three companies associated with Aviator Studio, as reported by NEXTio.

The ruling, issued by the First Chamber of the Civil Court, prohibits any signs that are identical or similar to two Spribe trademarks in the EU.

The ban applies to Aviator Studio Limited, Aviator Studio Holding Limited, and Aviator Studio USA Limited. According to the court's initial assessment, the branding of Aviator Studio creates a likelihood of confusion with Spribe's trademarks due to the identity of the name, similarities in the airplane imagery and audiovisual elements of the game, and the shared audience of the products.
