In Russia, bookmakers will be required to place a link on their websites to the section of the Long-Term Savings Program on the My Finances portal. This mandate comes from an order signed by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.
The regulation aims to provide players with alternative ways to manage their disposable income. The designated section will serve as a source of information about financial services that help in saving and growing funds.
The order will come into effect on September 1, 2026. From this date, a government mechanism for voluntary self-exclusion from gambling will also be implemented.
