On March 20, 2023, the Kirov Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (UFAS) in Russia initiated a case regarding violations of advertising legislation. This action was prompted by a complaint from an individual concerning the promotion of poker tournaments by the operator 1win in the Telegram channel Topor.

The advertisement, published on December 29, 2025, promoted a series of tournaments called Grand Poker Party, featuring a prize pool of $30,000. UFAS classified the Telegram channel as a resource not included in the list of permissible platforms for advertising gambling activities (according to part 2, paragraph 1, part 2.2 of Article 27 of the Federal Law on Advertising).

The responsibility for the advertisement lies with the distributor, whose details have not been disclosed by the UFAS. A hearing for the case has been scheduled for April 16.
