In the Netherlands, provider Pragmatic Play has restricted access to its slots for users of illegal iGaming operators, as reported by CasinoNieuws.nl. When attempting to launch any of the provider's games from a Dutch IP address on sites without a local license, users encounter a message stating, 'Not available in your region.'
The reason for this exit from the gray market has not been disclosed. Neither the provider nor the KSA regulator responded to inquiries from CasinoNieuws.nl at the time of publication. According to Blask, Pragmatic Play holds an 11.85% share of the online casino market in the Netherlands.
