Polymarket US Launches Beta Testing for Express Contracts

The prediction market platform Polymarket has begun beta testing express contracts on its American exchange, Polymarket US, which operates under the supervision of the CFTC.

The first express trade took place on August 5, and since then, the platform has recorded approximately $7.4 million in test volume across 16,173 trades, with most activity occurring in recent days.

These CAOC (Combinatorial Athletic Outcome Contracts) were self-certified with the CFTC back in May, but the product remains unavailable to the wider audience. Currently, the Polymarket US app does not feature the express collection option, and a full desktop version has not been released, meaning all trades have been conducted within the test phase.

Participants can combine up to 10 outcomes in a single trade. The price of the express is determined by a quote request system, where traders submit requests for outcome combinations, and market makers send back prices within a designated time frame, allowing traders to accept the best offer.

Express contracts have been available on the main international version of the platform since June. Polymarket US was launched in late 2025 to legally operate with American traders. According to reports, the test volume on the American exchange over the past weekend has already surpassed the figures of competing prediction market platform Kalshi during the initial days following the public launch of express contracts in December 2025. Additionally, estimates suggest that Kalshi earned $25 million from taker fees on express contracts in the first 16 days of August.
