On May 21, the Ceará state police (PCCE) in Brazil, in collaboration with the São Paulo police, arrested 43-year-old entrepreneur Albert Cesar Janjon during Operation Dirty Game. According to investigators, Janjon held a leadership position in a criminal organization associated with illegal iGaming operators, who attracted victims through social media with the support of influencers.

Janjon is also a former co-owner of the company Online Games Diversões e Entretenimento, which, according to BB Gaming Ltda, the rights holder of the iGaming operator brand Brabet, unlawfully used its trademark. The suspect was apprehended in a luxury residential complex in Campinas (São Paulo), where police seized two cars worth over $200,000, luxury brand watches, a computer, phones, and dozens of bank cards.
