A new clicker game titled Picky Numbers has launched its page on Steam, developed by indie studio Sunbeam Studio. The game revolves around lottery mechanics and follows the story of a protagonist living in poverty.
The main character works as a porter in a cramped booth, handing out keys to wealthy guests while watching lottery draws on an old television. Players will select numbers on purchased tickets and wait for the drum in the broadcast to reveal the winning numbers. The more matches, the higher the payout, and a complete match will result in a jackpot win.
There are five types of lotteries in the game, ranging from the simple Fifty Fifty for $1 to High Five for $50,000, featuring a $2 million jackpot, which unlocks as players progress. Each lottery has its own risk and return balance.
Winnings must be invested in upgrades that enhance lottery profits, add tickets, and increase winning chances. Additionally, players will need to develop a skill tree using a separate currency. While the release date has not yet been announced, a demo version is already available.
