The Lahore High Court in Pakistan has granted bail to Sarfraz Choudhry, the former deputy head of the National Cyber Crime Agency (NCCIA), along with two other individuals involved in a bribery and abuse of power case.
This case is linked to the investigation of YouTuber Ducky Bhai concerning advertisements for 1xBet, Bet365, B9 Game, and the binary options platform Binomo. Each of the accused has been released on bail set at $360.
The case was initiated by the anti-corruption wing of the FIA following a complaint from the blogger's wife, Arub Jatoi, who is also facing charges related to the advertisement of the mentioned brands. The court did not find direct evidence of Choudhry receiving money from the complainant. The judicial proceedings are ongoing.
