A new initiative called the Fan Championship has been launched in Russia, allowing fans to predict the outcomes of matches in the Russian Premier League (RPL) through the Gosuslugi Fan Card application. This gaming service was developed collaboratively by the Ministry of Digital Development, the Russian Football Union (RFU), and the Russian Premier League (RPL).
Users can earn points through various activities within the service, contributing to an overall tournament leaderboard. For a correct prediction and attending a match, users will receive 10 points, while attending a match with a child earns them 20 points. Participation in a football quiz can yield up to 15 points.
Among the prizes offered by the RFU are an electric car, a meeting with the national team’s head coach, a video message from a national team player, club season tickets, and other rewards.
