Spanish football league LALIGA has become the first European football league to enter into a multi-year partnership with the prediction market platform Polymarket. Under the terms of the agreement, Polymarket has been granted exclusive partner status in this category for the league in the USA and Canada.
The partnership includes integration into broadcasts and exclusive rights to use the league's and clubs' intellectual property during LALIGA matches.
Both parties will establish a sports integrity monitoring system based on a solution developed by Polymarket in collaboration with Palantir Technologies and TWG AI. The financial details and exact timeline of the deal have not been disclosed.
