The streaming platform Kick has revamped its donation mechanics for streamers. Instead of sending gifts from a catalog, users can now send internal currency, KICKs, directly through a slider under the chat. The donation amounts range from 1 to 50,000 KICKs.
Depending on the amount donated, messages attached to the donation will be pinned in the chat for a specific period. This creates a unified feed that prioritizes the largest and most recent donations, enhancing visibility for supporters.
