ITIA Investigates Mirra Andreyeva's Attendance at DraftKings Party

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) is investigating the participation of Russian tennis player Mirra Andreyeva at an iGaming operator DraftKings party, as reported by tennis journalist Ben Rothenberg.

Photos released by the event organizers show Andreyeva standing against the branding of the operator.

The party took place three days before the start of the main draw of the US Open. Alongside Andreyeva, notable tennis figures such as Serena Williams, Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka, and player Taylor Fritz were also in attendance.

The TACP regulations prohibit players from promoting tennis betting directly or indirectly, as well as advertising operators or being in employment relationships with them. Rothenberg estimates that in the absence of direct payment from DraftKings, the ITIA may limit its response to a warning for the players, avoiding any sanctions.
