DMCA Complaints Target Legal Online Casinos in Netherlands

As of March 27, the Netherlands has seen a surge in DMCA complaints filed with Google, totaling 59 requests aimed at removing a section listing legal online casinos from the KSA regulator's website. This has, in some cases, led to the removal of legitimate pages, according to reports from CasinoNieuws.nl, referencing iGaming expert Frank Kreuta and the public database Lumen Database.

Kreuta notes that each complaint is submitted by a different individual, allegedly on behalf of companies whose actual involvement he questions. Among these are iGaming platform developers Atlas Live and sportsbook software providers SB Tech and Delasport. The expert believes that such complaints often originate from illegal operators and affiliates looking to harm the legal market.

In an April complaint filed on behalf of Atlas Live, supposedly by a private individual from Malawi, it was claimed that content from the platform was copied by seven websites, including KSA, the legal online casino Goldrun Casino, and the publication CasinoNieuws.nl itself.
